How to Submit a sitemap to Google For Blogger Blogs

In this module I will teach you how to submit a make a google sitemap for your blogger blog . Site maps are important in caching URL of a website without even submitting into Google Crawl URL Directory . Submitting Site maps to google are simple

ABOUT BLOGGER DEFAULT SITEMAPS

A blogger default XML site map will have only 26 recent posts of your blog. This will cause in the non placement of your blogger's older post in the Google Search Engine results.

HOW CAN WE OVERCOME THIS PROBLEM

We can overcome this problem by submitting  a Robot.txt to blogger  . Google will automatically crawl URL with the newly submitted Robot .txt

HOW TO MAKE AND SUBMIT A ROBOT.TXT

MAKE A ROBOT.TXT SITEMAP 

 Fistly you have to  follow the steps below .

1.Creating a ROBOT. TXT for your website  . In the below text replace 

# Blogger Sitemap generated on 2013.05.10
User-agent: *
Disallow: /search
Allow: /
Sitemap: http://netindiantricks.blogspot.com/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=1&max-results=500

NOTE CHANGE DATE TO THE DATE YOU ARE SUBMITTING THE SITEMAP AND URL TO YOUR BLG URL. THEN ITS READY

SUBMIT THIS ROBOT.TXT

1. Go to Blogger.com and  go to dashboard

2. In dashboard go to SETTINGS

3. In settings go to SEARCH PREFERENCES 

4. In CRAWLERS AND INDEXING go to CUSTOM ROBOT.TXT

5. Click on EDIT and paste your websites robot.txt as above  and click done , then its ready.
